👨🍳 Instructions
1. Soak the red beans for a few hours then drain.
2. Cook them in water until very tender, approximately 40 minutes.
3. Blend a portion of the beans with their cooking water to achieve a creamy texture.
4. Add white rice and simmer for 15 minutes more.
5. Sweeten with brown sugar and serve hot with a few rice cakes if desired.
