On full-makeup or heavy-sunscreen days: oil cleanse first, massaging into dry skin for a full 60 seconds before adding water to emulsify, then follow with a gentle second cleanser. On bare-faced or minimal-product days: skip straight to a single gentle foaming cleanse. Let the day's actual product load — not habit — determine which approach you reach for, adjusting flexibly rather than committing to the same two-step routine regardless of what's actually on your skin that day.
